Strong 6.8-magnitude earthquake rocks Myanmar; tremors felt in Delhi-NCR, Kolkata, Bihar, Assam

A strong earthquake measuring 6.8 on Richter Scale rocked Myanmar at around 4:04pm on Wednesday. Tremors were felt in Northeast India, West Bengal, Delhi-NCR, Bihar and Assam spreading panic among people.

According to National Centre for Seismology, a unit of Ministry of Earth Sciences, the epicenter of the quake was in Myanmar at a depth of 58 kms. Read More: India News Today
