PM Narendra Modi expresses deep concern and pain over Kashmir unrest

Expressing deep concern and pain over the prevailing situation in Kashmir, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday told Opposition leaders from led by Omar Abdullah that those who lost their lives during the unrest are "part of us, our nation". “Whether the lives lost are of our youth, security personnel or police, it distresses us,” said PM Modi.
