Too much folate in pregnancy may raise risk of austim: Study
Pregnant women are urged to take vitamin supplements with folic acid to prevent birth defects, but research out today suggests that too much may raise the risk of autism. The findings were presented at a conference in Baltimore, Maryland, and have not yet been published or peer-reviewed, so researchers at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health called for caution in interpreting their results.
